We celebrate the traditions of hunting, fishing, camping, and life outside through vintage field finds, original outdoor goods, artwork, apparel, and thoughtfully selected products made for people who still appreciate things with character.

Our mission is to keep the spirit and history of the outdoors alive while encouraging a more thoughtful way to buy.

We believe there is value in remembering the sportsmen, inventors, manufacturers, writers, and outdoor traditions that came before us. We also believe quality matters. A well-made reel, pack, piece of camp gear, or everyday outdoor good should be something you use for years, not something you replace next season.

That philosophy guides what we sell, what we create, and how we operate.

We favor durable goods, vintage equipment, made-to-order products, responsible sourcing, and conservation efforts that help protect the places where we hunt, fish, camp, and explore.

Vintage Field Finds

There is something different about old outdoor gear.

Much of it was built during a time when products were expected to be maintained, repaired, and used for decades. A quality vintage reel, tackle box, knife, pack, or piece of camp equipment carries the marks of where it has been and still has plenty of life left in it.

Choosing vintage also gives an existing piece of equipment another chapter rather than requiring a new product to be manufactured in its place.

For us, that makes vintage gear more than nostalgia. It is a practical way to appreciate outdoor history while getting more use from goods that have already stood the test of time.

Made-to-Order Goods

Many of our original apparel and lifestyle products are produced only after an order is placed.

That means your order may take a little longer to arrive, but it also helps reduce unnecessary inventory and overproduction. Instead of filling warehouses with products that may never be purchased, we make what is needed when it is needed.

It is a slower approach, but one that fits the JBicklesbee philosophy: buy thoughtfully, use what you own, and choose goods worth keeping.

Shipping Materials

We also believe perfectly good packaging should not be thrown away simply because it has already made one trip.

Whenever practical, we reuse boxes, packing materials, and other shipping supplies. Your order may occasionally arrive in packaging that has been given a second life, and we consider that a good thing.

It helps reduce unnecessary waste while keeping useful materials in circulation a little longer.
